Finding a package¶
If you are planning to use Python, consider installing XGBoost from a pre-built binary wheel, available from Python Package Index (PyPI). To enable use of multiple threads (and utilize capacity of multi-core CPUs), see the section Installing R package on Mac OSX with multi-threading to install XGBoost.
In your browser, you can search Anaconda Cloud for packages by packagename. From the top navigation bar of any page, enter the package name inthe search box. You can filter your searches to specify only conda orPyPI packages, and you can sort results by number of favorites or numberof downloads by clicking the search results column heading.
Downloading and installing a package from Cloud¶
To install a conda package, in your Terminal window or Anaconda Prompt run:
Conda expands
username
to a URL such ashttps://anaconda.org/username or https://conda.anaconda.org/usernamebased on the settings in the .condarc
file.NOTE: Replace

with your username, and packagename

Finding my Client login credentials¶
Your credentials for Client are those you used to create anaccount on Cloud.
To get help:
- Go to https://anaconda.org.
- Select the Sign In tab.
- Click either
